Makeup Artist Mag

On twitter I found a makeup artist that does makeup for magazines, her stuff is quite amazing:

On twitter her name is MakeupArtistMag.

She does a mixture of pretty makeup to Scary makeup that looks like something out of horror films.

Some of er stuff is quite similar to the film 'Avatar' and some looks like out of the film 'Silent Hill'

History of Makeup

History of makeup

Egyptians used to create the world's first cosmetics to the products of today that can do everything from hide pores, smooth complexions, and turn the pale green of your eyes a shade of emerald, makeup has been apart of humankind for thousands of years. Women used arsenic, lead, mercury, and even leeches to give themselves the pale appearance.

Personally, I think people nowadays have got too selfish over makeup and use it everyday when they dont need to such as; fake tan. People before used fake tan for dancing competitions and other activities but they didnt wear makeup whilst athome etc.
In Japan, Girls wore lipstick made of crushed petals to paint the eyebrows and edges of the eyes as well as the lips and sticks of wax, a softer version of the sumo wrestlers' hair wax were used by geisha as a makeup base.

Makeup Primer

I think makeup users should use this to keep on your makeup for the whole day without smudges. It helps your foundation stay in the same place where you put it without it going patchy. Primer can be very expensive but it is worth it!
